Reading Roadrunners Cross Country - Sunday 7th December at 11am

Location: Ashenbury Park, off Tippings Lane, Woodley, Reading, RG5 4RX.

Parking at Willow Bank Junior School, Duffield Road, Woodley, RG5 4RL and Waingels College, Waingels Road, Woodley, RG5 4RF. Both are a 5-minute walk from the venue. Club tents can be dropped off at the park entrance. Please car share where possible.

This event is licenced by the Trail Running Association (www.tra-uk.org) and run under UKA rules. It is two-lap course is c.8k mainly on open grassy ground plus a trail through the woods. No huge hills, rivers or bogs but there will be tree roots, and it will be strength-sapping in wet conditions. The start is an uphill and downhill U-shaped loop, before the start of the first full lap. The course is the same as it was last year. A map of the route will be available on the day.

Finishing tokens will be handed out to all finishers - please return these to your club reps.

Food and drink will be served in the Ashenbury car park - please remember to bring your own plate and mug.

There will be portable toilets and a urinal available on site. Please do not use the bushes at the park.

It is the Reading Toy Run that day and there will be a road closure of the A329 (Reading Road) from the cinema roundabout to Rectory Road, Wokingham from circa 1pm to 3pm.
