Datchet Dashers Cross Country - Sunday 11th November

Time: 11:02 (after the two minutes silence) We shall hold the silence on the start line with the Exhortation:

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning
We will remember them."

Place: The Brocas, Eton. Nearest postcode is SL4 6BW (Waterman's Arms). This year the start and finish will again be at the far end of The Brocas to try and avoid conflict with the swans and residents! It worked last year.

Please note that there is no parking at the venue and very limited parking in Eton. You can park near our clubhouse (Home Park) and walk through to The Brocas or you can use the local car parks - the parking beyond the club house is free on Sundays but please be courteous of other park users. If the rugby is playing a home game it can get very busy and difficult to find spaces.

Following several rather irate complaints from residents we will be providing toilets for the race. Please make use of these or the nearby public toilets (Home Park, Alexandra Gardens) rather than doing anything in public which may jeopardise the future of the race at this venue.

The course is not suitable for spikes.

Finishing disks will be handed out to the finishers. Please return these disks to your club rep.
